WPADblock initiative: monitoring and blocking WPAD traffic since 2007.

We've been registering wpad.* domains since 2007 to prevent malicious use. These domains pose several security threats, ranging from simple MITM attacks, ending with possible remote code execution. Please refer to the links provided below for further information. We currently do not disclose information on how often these domains are queried. We do however gather statistical information, that can be shared for the purposes of security research at any time.
